Goalkeeping Camp
Goalkeeping Camp
GOALKEEPER CURRICULUM:
Our goalkeeping staff will teach players the technical, tactical, mental and physical aspects of this crucial position. Individualized training will focus on: footwork, catching, distribution, angle play, high balls, decision-making and communication. The training experience is further enhanced as the goalkeepers are incorporated into small group training sessions and full field matches. Our goal is to provide every goalkeeper with the tools they need to continue to improve long after the conclusion of camp.
Jonathon Hoover – former Alfred State University Soccer Coach. A goalkeeper while in college, a collegiate coach and High School girls varsity coach. An excellent teacher and coach with a passion to have campers challenged while enjoying camp training.
Massimo Favetto – serves as the goalkeeper coach at West Liberty University and is a graduate of Bethany College. During his playing career at Bethany, he developed strong technical knowledge of the game, particularly in goalkeeper training and development. Massimo also brings valuable youth coaching experience, having previously worked at summer camps and clinics with Bethany Soccer Camps, where he has helped train and mentor young goalkeepers and field players alike.
