Camp Program

Bethany Soccer Camps are designed to provide a balance of skill, tactics, and game experience. Each session provides specific instruction and soccer activities according to age group, skill development, and game awareness. Players are assigned to training groups according to skill and age, and they play nightly on a camp team which is coached by a Bethany Camp Staff coach.

DAILY SCHEDULE
7:30 – Breakfast
8:00 – Goalkeeping Training
9:00 – Warm-up/Rhythmics
9:30 – Morning Training-skill development and small sided training
11:30 – Lunch Break
1:00 or 2:30 – Tactical Training w/ Team
5:00 – 6:15 – Dinner
5:30 or 7:00 – Soccer Matches
9:00 – Evening activities at Turf Stadium
10:00 – Report to Residence Hall

Team Camp

Bethany Soccer Camps encourage competitive youth teams, Travel Club teams, and high school teams to attend and fully participate in our team camp program. Our goal is to meet team needs and to improve the level of individual and team performance. Head coaches and/or assistant coaches are encouraged to attend with the team and to participate in the coordination of team training sessions and game tactics. Coaches attend for free with a team of 12 and more while players receive a reduction in camp fees. Teams are housed together in the residence halls and receive instruction from an experienced staff coach with appropriate coaching license.

Activities

Training Sessions – Our curriculum includes 8-9 technical and tactical training sessions.

Daily Games – Games are played each day/evening. Camp coaches analyze and discuss both tactical and personal performance. The games are open to family, visitors and coaches.

7v7 Tournaments – All campers participate and certificates are awarded

Christy Cup Challenge – A team activity that incorporates leadership, soccer skills, and teamwork.

Functional Training- positional awareness, individual responsibilities, and team “shape” are emphasized. Attacking, defending and midfield play are included in functional training.

Teams

Competitive youth teams, club teams and high school
teams are encouraged to attend. Our goal is to evaluate
team needs and to improve the level of individual and
team performance.
